Soulja Boy Launches “Soulja Boy: Rap Empire” — His Own Free 3D Multiplayer Video Game
Written by Kiss Media on 21 October 2026
Soulja Boy has spent nearly 20 years being first — first rapper to blow up on YouTube, first to turn a ringtone into a cultural movement — and now he says he’s the first rapper with his own 3D multiplayer video game.
Last Thursday (Oct. 15), Soulja Boy announced Soulja Boy: Rap Empire on social media with his trademark confidence: “THE EMPIRE IS JUST GETTING STARTED. Introducing SOULJA BOY: RAP EMPIRE,” he wrote on X. “My own 3D multiplayer video game! Choose your fighter, customize your loadout, and dominate in Free For All, Team Deathmatch & 1v1 Combat Mode! Built different. First rapper to do it.”
The game is available now on PC for free through its official website, souljaboyrapempire.com. There is one caveat: French gaming outlet Ohmazin, which tested the game on Oct. 17, noted that the playable version didn’t yet include the multiplayer combat modes Soulja Boy advertised, describing an experience centered more on his music and career. Features could change as development continues.
This isn’t Soulja Boy’s first swing at gaming. Back in 2018, he launched the SouljaGame console and handheld, later revamping the line in 2025 and returning to handhelds last November with the SouljaGame Flip and SouljaGame X consoles. Gaming is just one lane in his growing empire — he launched his DripCo streetwear brand in August, joined Kick’s creator monetization program, and announced his Rapper University program over the summer (a direct response to Kai Cenat not inviting him to Streamer University).
And in typical Soulja Boy fashion, the game arrives amid an eventful news cycle: last week he teased a run for political office — possibly even president — and weighed in on the protests in France, suggesting he’s taking the political talk more seriously than people expected. Whether Rap Empire becomes a gaming staple or a footnote, one thing is certain: Soulja Boy keeps finding new arenas to enter.
