Diddy’s Release Date Moves Up Again — Now February 6, 2028, After Allenwood Transfer
Written by Kiss Media on 2 November 2026

Sean “Diddy” Combs just got a little more good news from the Bureau of Prisons. His release date has been moved up again — this time to February 6, 2028 — following his recent transfer to FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania.
TMZ reports that the new date, revealed Monday, moves his release up more than three weeks from the projected date last month, March 2, 2028. It is the latest swing in a release date that has bounced around repeatedly: previous dates listed have included January 21, February 5, and February 20.
The change follows his transfer to Allenwood after troubles at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. TMZ reports that at Fort Dix, Diddy was put in solitary confinement for allegedly violating rules by getting into fights and using contraband cellphones, and cites NBC News reporting that he received VIP treatment there because he paid other inmates for massages, meals, and chores.
The thinking, as HotNewHipHop notes, is that the smaller, lower-security Allenwood setting gives Diddy fewer opportunities to get into trouble, which in turn helps his release date keep moving in the right direction. Whether the February 2028 date holds is another story — given how many times it has already changed, another shift before then would surprise no one.
The backstory: a 2025 trial jury found Diddy guilty on two counts of the Mann Act, for transporting people across state lines for prostitution, and acquitted him on the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges. A judge sentenced him to 50 months in federal prison on the lesser charges.
For a mogul whose career built Bad Boy Records into a cultural empire, the countdown to freedom is now measured in months, not years — and every update keeps the hip-hop world watching.
Take it back to a Bad Boy classic above — Puff Daddy’s “I’ll Be Missing You” featuring Faith Evans and 112.
