Future Reunites With Drake on “Ya Hit” — With Travis Scott and Loe Shimmy Along for the Ride

Future — Ya Hit

Future and Drake are back on wax together — and this time they brought the whole squad with them. On Friday, November 6, Future dropped “Ya Hit,” a heavyweight new single featuring Drake, Travis Scott and rising Florida rapper Loe Shimmy, with ad-libs from Sexyy Red sprinkled in for good measure.

The track is more than just a star-studded one-off. According to XXL, “Ya Hit” is the lead single from Future’s next album, which is set to be titled Infinity. HotNewHipHop reports the same, noting that the posse cut will appear on the follow-up to The Real Me — though no release date or further details have been shared yet.

Produced by ATL Jacob, the song had been building buzz for weeks. Future previewed it last month at a party in New York alongside Loe and Travis, with Cash Cobain also in the room. On the hook, Loe sets the tone: “Baby, you f**kin’ with lames, ya hit, ya hit. Reach for this diamond, my chains, ya hit, ya hit. I don’t really care for the fame, get hit, ya hit. She shakin’ a*s, she done ran through the town, go down.”

The Drake reunion is the headline within the headline. “Ya Hit” marks the second time this year the two have shared a track, after Future appeared on “Ran to Atlanta” from Drake’s Iceman album. Before that, the pair had not appeared on a song together since 2022, following a rift that surfaced the next year and deepened in 2024, when Future and Metro Boomin released We Don’t Trust You — the album that carried “Like That,” Kendrick Lamar’s verse that launched one of hip-hop’s most infamous beefs. Fans are already debating whether Drake takes any subliminal shots on his new verse, with some listeners pointing to lines aimed at JAY-Z, DJ Khaled or A$AP Rocky.

Future is coming off a huge year of his own. The Real Me, his 10th solo studio album, arrived July 10 with 22 tracks and no features, moving 131,000 album-equivalent units in its first week and giving him his 12th No. 1 album. Back in August, he teased the next project on his Instagram Story while thanking fans for the chart-topper: “Thanks for the #1 album. I’m always super grateful for the consistent love 1000% this next one for you.” If “Ya Hit” is any indication, that next one will not be featureless.

Press play on the official audio below and decide for yourself — is “Ya Hit” the hardest posse cut of the year so far?
