Yung Miami Goes Solo For Real: Debut Album ‘Watch Dis!’ Is Finally Here

Written by on 23 October 2026

Yung Miami has officially entered her solo era. The former City Girls star dropped her debut studio album, Watch Dis!, on digital streaming platforms on Friday (Oct. 23) — and she’s calling it her comeback story.

The 21-track project is stacked. Miami lines up guest features from Travis Scott, Quavo, G Herbo, Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy, Bryson Tiller, Summer Walker, Pleasure P, and Lil Baby and Kodak Black on a “Spend Dat” remix — plus an international remix of the hit with Davido, Shenseea, and Vybz Kartel.

The album caps off a huge solo run for the 32-year-old rapper. “Spend Dat,” produced by J White Did It, became arguably this year’s song of the summer after dropping in April and climbing to No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. She followed it with the trap-leaning “2008” and the abrasive “F You” as official singles.

One of the album’s most talked-about moments is “Dear JT,” where Miami addresses the public fallout with her City Girls sister. “We could’ve made history,” she raps, reminiscing about their bond before the duo’s split and the end of an era she admits has been painful and public.

Miami has been clear about what this album means to her. In a post to fans, she described Watch Dis! as “my first solo album, my comeback, my truth” — a direct response to the critics who counted her out after the City Girls breakup and her much-discussed past connection to Diddy. Even the visuals lean into her Miami roots, with promo looks inspired by the 1980s and the neon-noir world of Miami Vice.

The project’s lead single already made its case: take a trip back through the song that started it all and see why “Spend Dat” owned the summer — watch Yung Miami’s official “Spend Dat” video.

Watch Dis! arrives on one of the busiest New Music Fridays in a while — Cordae and Anderson .Paak’s collaborative album Heavy Is The Crown, John Legend and Pharrell’s Muse, Offset, Yeat, and more all drop tonight. But the spotlight is Miami’s: this is the project that proves the solo run is no experiment.
