Shyne’s “2622 LGND” Tour Hits D.C.’s Warner Theatre with Barrington Levy & Lil’ Cease

D.C. is in for a heavyweight night of hip-hop and reggae history. SHYNE: 2622 LGND Tour, featuring Barrington Levy and Lil’ Cease, lands at the Warner Theatre on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

Shyne — born Jamal Barrow — is the deep-voiced Brooklyn lyricist who stormed out of the Bad Boy Records camp in 2000 with his self-titled platinum debut and the gritty anthem “Bad Boyz,” featuring dancehall star Barrington Levy. His career took a dramatic turn through prison time and deportation to his native Belize, where he later reinvented himself as a statesman. Now back on stage, the 2622 LGND Tour mixes nostalgia with previews of two forthcoming albums, promising both the classics and what’s next.

Joining him is Jamaican reggae and dancehall legend Barrington Levy, the voice behind “Here I Come” and “Under Mi Sensi,” whose sweet-but-rugged delivery has influenced generations of hip-hop. Rounding out the bill is Lil’ Cease, the Junior M.A.F.I.A. rapper and Notorious B.I.G. protégé known for “Crush On You” — expect pure Brooklyn, Brooklyn-meets-Kingston fusion all night long.
