Kim Kardashian Copies North West’s Goth Look for Halloween — and They’re Nearly Identical
Written by Kiss Media on 21 October 2026
Kim Kardashian doesn’t do Halloween halfway — and this year, instead of borrowing a look from Hollywood, she borrowed one from her own daughter.
On Tuesday (Oct. 20), the SKIMS founder shared a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram revealing her first costume of the season: 13-year-old North West herself. In a major departure from her usual glam style, Kim recreated North’s signature goth aesthetic — waist-length blue hair, multiple facial and hand piercings, a black grill, long nails, platform sneakers, a long-sleeve tee, a skirt, and North’s signature skull chain.
North, Kim’s oldest child with Ye, has spent the past year carving out her own look as her music career takes off, leaning into an all-black, alternative style. The bold fashion has sparked debate online, with some critics labeling it “demonic” because of her age. Earlier this month, North addressed the backlash directly during a TikTok livestream with her mom, pushing back against the criticism and explaining that people shouldn’t judge her character based on how she dresses. Kim backed her daughter up, noting that North has always had her own sense of style and loves expressing herself through fashion. North also clarified that her facial piercings aren’t actually real — and Kim made sure to add that she’s set limits on her 13-year-old getting real ones.
The resemblance in Kim’s tribute is so striking that some fans initially thought she was just posting photos of her daughter. With 11 days still to go before Halloween, don’t be surprised if Kim rolls out more looks — celebrities love a multi-costume season. But matching your daughter’s goth era this convincingly? That one will be tough to top.
