R&B & Poetry Black Out Experience Lights Up Laurel Nov 27

Laurel, Maryland is getting a night built around culture, music, and community. The R&B & Poetry Black Out Experience takes place at 21 C Street in Laurel, Maryland, on Friday, November 27, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Presented by Promo Queen in conjunction with The Gem, the event is a Black Friday celebration of African American, Caribbean, and African culture. The night brings together music, dance, performances, poetry, and great food, with smooth R&B vibes setting the mood and keeping the energy flowing all evening.

The Black Out theme invites guests to come together in celebration, turning the day after Thanksgiving into a shared night out rather than just a shopping day. It is the kind of urban community gathering that mixes live expression with a party atmosphere, giving local voices and local flavor the spotlight.

Doors and details are listed on the event page, and tickets can be booked through the link below. Arrive ready to celebrate, connect, and enjoy a night where R&B and poetry take center stage.
