Mamas Gun Bring Modern Soul to Blue Note Jazz Club November 16
London soul band Mamas Gun are bringing their smooth, groove-heavy sound to New York City for one night at the Blue Note Jazz Club on Monday, November 16, 2026, with the show starting at 8:00 PM.
The five-piece, led by frontman Andy Platts, have built their name on a distinctive blend of classic R&B grooves and contemporary pop sensibilities, often drawing comparisons to Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder. Their songs are warm, melodic, and made for a room where every note lands, and their live show has earned them fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
Blue Note Jazz Club, at 131 West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village, is the perfect setting for Mamas Gun’s sophisticated soul — an intimate room, a world-class stage, and a band that knows how to work it. It is a Monday-night escape for anyone who loves soul music played the right way.
