Gregory Porter Brings DC Jazz Festival Benefit Concert to The Anthem November 16
Grammy-winning vocalist Gregory Porter is headlining a special night at The Anthem in Washington, DC, on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 7:30 PM for the DC Jazz Festival Benefit Concert, A Night of Stars, with the String Queens also on the bill.
Porter is one of the most celebrated jazz and soul voices of his generation, a two-time Grammy winner whose rich baritone and heartfelt songwriting have made albums like Liquid Spirit modern classics. His live shows are warm, generous, and deeply moving — part concert, part communion — and his songs like “Hey Laura” and “Holding On” have become standards for a new era.
The Anthem, at 901 Wharf Street SW on The Wharf, is one of DC’s premier stages, and a benefit night for the DC Jazz Festival makes the evening mean even more. Your ticket supports the festival’s work bringing jazz to the District all year long.
