Funkmaster Flex Brings the 80’s Babies All Black Reunion to The INKwell Rooftop Nov 20
New York City, get ready to party like it’s the golden era all over again. Hot 97’s own Funkmaster Flex is bringing the 80’s Babies All Black Reunion to The INKwell Harbor-Club Rooftop on Friday, November 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The rooftop at 621 W 46th Street in Manhattan is the setting for a grown-folks celebration of the clubs that raised a generation.
This is an all-black affair honoring the legendary rooms where New York nightlife was made: The Tunnel, Palladium, Limelight, The Muse, Roxy, Club Cheetah, Mecca, and Home Base. If you came up in those rooms, this night is for you. Flex will be doing what he has done for decades behind the turntables, spinning the records that defined an era while the city skyline glows behind him.
Funk Flex remains one of the most influential voices in hip-hop radio, a Hot 97 staple who has broken countless records and hosted some of the most legendary freestyle sessions ever put on wax. His all-vinyl 90s hip-hop mixes are the stuff of New York legend, and this reunion is built for the crowd that lived it.
Advance tickets are $45, with VIP sections starting at $200, including admission, Moët bottle service, and appetizers. Valet parking is available for $25, and the night is sponsored by Moët Hennessy.
Press play on a taste of what Flex does best:
