Rock The Bells Festival Brings Hip-Hop Home for the Holidays to Prudential Center
Newark is closing out Hip-Hop History Month with a lineup the culture will be talking about all year. Rock The Bells Festival 2026 — billed as “The Culture. Home for the Holidays” — takes over Prudential Center on Sunday, November 29, 2026 at 7:00 PM (doors at 6:00 PM).
Founded by hip-hop pioneer LL COOL J and produced by Rock The Bells alongside the Black Promoters Collective — the nation’s leading Black-owned live entertainment company — the festival carries the community-giving spirit of the holiday season into an arena-sized celebration of the culture.
The headliners read like a hall of fame induction: LL COOL J (performing with Z-Trip & Technician the DJ), Lil’ Kim, SWV, and Method Man & Redman. The bill runs deep from there — Kool G Rap, Kwamé, Onyx, Papoose, Raekwon & Ghostface Killah, Roxanne Shanté, Shyne, the Sugarhill Gang and the Furious Five, and Treach of Naughty By Nature. A special Club Quarantine set from D-Nice features David Banner, LeToya Luckett, The LOX (Jadakiss, Styles P & Sheek Louch) and Rapsody, with Torae hosting the night.
