Thundercat and TiaCorine Take Over Kings Theatre Brooklyn on Oct 23
Written by Kiss Media on 13 October 2026
Thundercat rolls into the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn on Friday, October 23, 2026, with an 8:00 PM showtime, and he is bringing rapper TiaCorine along in support. The pairing promises a night where cosmic jazz-funk meets fresh Southern hip-hop energy in one of Brooklyn’s most beautiful historic venues.
Thundercat — born Stephen Bruner — is a genre-bending bass virtuoso whose playing has anchored everything from Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly to his own Grammy-winning projects. His live shows are equal parts virtuosic musicianship and playful unpredictability, blending funk, jazz, soul, and a dash of anime-loving eccentricity. TiaCorine, the Winston-Salem rapper behind the viral hit “Lotto” and a series of sharp, colorful mixtapes, brings a charismatic stage presence that has made her one of the most exciting young names in the game.
