Harrington Man Gets 30 Years in Prison for Two Separate Child Rape Cases

William Conard, 37, of Harrington will spend 30 years behind bars after being sentenced in two separate child sexual abuse cases, the Delaware Department of Justice announced.
Prosecutors say Conard raped a child over the course of several years until his arrest in October 2025. The investigation later uncovered a second victim, now an adult, who was abused for several years beginning when they were between 6 and 8 years old.
Conard pleaded guilty earlier this year to two counts of second-degree rape and two counts of third-degree rape. On October 8, a judge sentenced him to 30 years of Level V prison time.
Attorney General Kathy Jennings called the violence unthinkable, particularly when committed against a child, and thanked the prosecutors and Delaware State Police who built the case.
