Cardi B just gave the internet the reveal it has been waiting a whole year for — and she did it in the most Cardi way possible.
On Wednesday, the Bronx superstar marked her youngest child’s first birthday by sharing the first-ever photos of her son with NFL star Stefon Diggs — and finally confirming the name she kept under wraps for twelve months: Grey Marsean Diggs. Until now, fans only knew him as “Baby Brim,” the nickname Cardi used while keeping his face and name completely private.
The birthday carousel is pure Cardi. Grey shows up in a tiny doctor’s coat under a “Grey’s Anatomy” banner — a wink at his name that had fans screaming — plus sharp little fits, overalls, jackets, and even Rocky and Bullwinkle snapbacks. She also showed off custom bracelets carrying all four of her children’s names: Kulture, Wave, Blossom, and now Grey, with a matching necklace to complete the set.
In her birthday message, Cardi got real about what this year meant. She wrote that carrying Grey through one of the most uncertain, high-pressure stretches of her life actually gave her strength — that while she was growing him, he was giving her life right back. She said he gave a new meaning to a “Grey day,” lighting up her life and every room with his smile, his laugh, and what she called his precious spirit.
The reveal lands after a whirlwind year for Cardi. She gave birth to Grey last November while she was still rolling out her sophomore album, kept working through the pregnancy, and then hit the road on her first arena tour just months later. She and Diggs split back in February, a few months after Grey was born, but the two continue to co-parent — and judging by this birthday post, Grey is wrapped in all of his mother’s love.
