Usher & Chris Brown Cancel Four R&B Tour Dates — No Reschedule Announced
Written by Kiss Media on 12 October 2026
Four cities just lost their night with two R&B kings, and fans are demanding answers.
Usher and Chris Brown have officially canceled four stadium dates on their blockbuster co-headlining R&B Tour, pulling the plug on shows in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbia, and Indianapolis with no replacement dates announced. Ticketmaster marked the events as canceled on October 9, and fans began sharing cancellation emails that same evening.
Here are the dates that are off the calendar:
– October 17 — M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
– October 24 — Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
– October 29 — Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
– October 31 — Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
The canceled shows were part of an eight-date stadium extension announced in mid-August after the tour’s first 13 shows sold out. According to FOX45, Live Nation said the tour had already grossed more than $101 million across its first eight shows — making this one of the biggest R&B tours in recent memory, with a nearly three-hour production of the two stars alternating sets.
So why cancel? The official explanation, sent to ticketholders and echoed in a statement from Lucas Oil Stadium, points to the “health and well-being of the touring party and crew.” The venue’s statement added that “the demands of a tour of this length and scale are significant, and these adjustments will allow the tour to continue safely and sustainably through the remaining scheduled performances.” Neither Usher nor Chris Brown has issued a personal public statement.
But the timing has the internet talking. The BBC has reported that Brown is expected in a London court on October 26 for sentencing after pleading guilty in connection with a 2023 nightclub incident, with bail conditions requiring him back in the U.K. by October 25 — right in the middle of the canceled stretch. Neither the tour nor Ticketmaster has connected the cancellations to Brown’s legal situation, and that link remains unconfirmed speculation.
One outlet, Showbiz411, floated weak ticket sales as a factor — but that claim is unverified and conflicts with the promoter’s sold-out narrative. Treat it as rumor, not fact.
What fans need to know right now: Ticketmaster says refunds will be issued automatically to the original payment method within 14 to 21 days, and transferred tickets will be returned to the original purchaser. The tour has not said whether any of the four shows will be rescheduled, and the remaining dates — including a five-night stand at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium starting November 5 — are still on the calendar for now.
