Drake’s ‘HABIBTI (FOMO)’ Deluxe Explodes With 70,500 First-Week Units, Debuts at No. 2 on Billboard 200

Drake doesn’t cool off — he reloads.
The 6 God has done it again. His expanded project HABIBTI (FOMO), a deluxe edition adding just four new tracks to the original HABIBTI, is projected to move an impressive 70,500 units in its first week, landing at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The numbers, reported by DJ Akademiks and covered October 11 by HipHopRaisedMe, blew past early projections of around 65,000 units.
For context, that’s 70,000-plus units off essentially four songs. In a year where even big rap releases have struggled to crack 15-20K first week, Drake turning a quiet project into a chart monster speaks to a different level of star power.
The original HABIBTI had flown somewhat under the radar after Drake’s insanely prolific 2026 run — Iceman back in May, plus Maid of Honour and Habibti. The (FOMO) expansion changed everything. The four new cuts — “Cold Shoulder” with Don Toliver and Yebba, “Solar Eclipse,” “Quebec,” and “Classic PT2” — arrived October 2 after being teased in Drake’s hour-long Fear of Missing Out short film.
That film is part of the story too. FOMO premiered on YouTube September 15, disappeared briefly, then returned September 17, giving fans a full visual world around the new music and even teasing a 2027 world tour. Watch the official video for “Cold Shoulder,” the deluxe’s standout collab, here:
The bigger conversation: hip-hop’s commercial climate keeps shifting, with pop and country eating up chart space. Yet Drake keeps proving the ceiling is still sky-high when the rollout is right.
