Candlelight: 90s Hip-Hop on Strings Lights Up Trenton November 14
Trenton, get ready to hear the golden age of hip-hop like never before. Candlelight: 90s Hip-Hop on Strings comes to the Historic Trenton Masonic Temple in Trenton, New Jersey, on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 4:15 PM.
Performed live by the Listeso String Quartet, the 60-minute concert reimagines the beats and rhymes that defined a decade, all by candlelight. The tentative program includes medleys from Fugees and Lauryn Hill, Outkast, Missy Elliott, Nas, Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang Clan, 2Pac, and The Notorious B.I.G., plus Snoop Dogg’s Gin and Juice.
The Historic Trenton Masonic Temple, at 100 Barrack Street in Trenton, sets the scene: a historic room glowing with candles while a string quartet takes on some of the most recognizable hooks in hip-hop history. Doors open 45 minutes before the show, and there is no entry once it starts.
Please note this is a tribute experience and is not associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the artists featured.
