The Roots with Special Guest Tierra Whack Hit Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City January 17
Jersey, this is the one circled in permanent marker. The Roots — with special guest Tierra Whack — bring their legendary live show to Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City on Sunday, January 17, 2027, at 8:00 PM. General onsale began today, Friday, October 23.
Philadelphia’s own Roots are three-time Grammy winners, the house band for The Tonight Show, and quite simply one of the greatest live acts on the planet — Rolling Stone named them one of the 20 greatest live acts in the world. Since 1987, Questlove, Black Thought, and company have blended hip-hop with jazz, funk, and rock into a show no two nights the same, anchored by the platinum classic Things Fall Apart and anthems like “The Seed (2.0)” and “You Got Me.”
Joining them is Philly’s own Tierra Whack, the visionary rapper behind the acclaimed Whack World project — a hometown hero on a hometown-heroes bill, Jersey-side. Two generations of Philadelphia hip-hop excellence, one stage, one night.
