GloRilla and Brandon Ingram Go Full Ciara and Bow Wow for Halloween — and Nailed the “Like You” Video

GloRilla understood the assignment this Halloween — and she brought her boyfriend along for the nostalgia trip.
The Memphis rapper kicked off her Halloween celebrations by paying tribute to Ciara not once, but twice. First, she recreated the cover of Ciara’s 2004 debut album, Goodies, complete with the pink hoodie, long hair, and cross necklace that defined that era. Then she leveled up, recruiting her boyfriend, NBA star Brandon Ingram, to recreate Ciara and Bow Wow’s beloved 2005 “Like You” music video.
On Friday, October 30, GloRilla posted a video of the couple stepping into those iconic roles — her as the young Ciara, Ingram as the young Bow Wow — and recreating the video’s famous elevator scene. The details were on point, right down to the shimmering Ed Hardy tiger graphic T-shirts that were everywhere in the mid-2000s. She captioned the clip with a lyric from Ciara’s part on the track, and fans immediately got the reference.
The tribute also comes full circle in the sweetest way. Two years ago, in 2024, Ciara dressed up as GloRilla for Halloween, recreating the rapper’s viral interview with Speedy Morman, Memphis accent and all. GloRilla loved it at the time, and this year’s costumes are a playful return of the favor — this time with Ingram in tow. The two have been publicly linked since 2025, and he traded the basketball court for Bow Wow’s wardrobe to help Glo revisit two of Ciara’s most celebrated early-career moments.
The admiration between GloRilla and Ciara is not just a Halloween thing, either. The two previously teamed up on the remix of Ciara’s “Better Thangs” in 2022, so this costume is really a celebration of a genuine connection between two generations of Southern talent.
And the original video they recreated? “Like You” was a massive moment in its own right — the then-couple played neighbors with a crush on each other, and the song climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is still a throwback-night staple, and GloRilla’s version just gave it a whole new life.
GloRilla is far from the only rapper who went all out this Halloween, but this one hit different: it was faithful, it was funny, and it was full of love for the era that raised her.
