Pusha T Says Clipse’s New Album Beats Their Classic — and He’ll Never Make “Hell Hath No Fury” Again

Written by on 24 October 2026

Pusha T just said the quiet part out loud — and Clipse fans are going to be debating this one for a long time. Asked to pick between the group’s celebrated 2006 classic and their 2025 comeback album, King Push sided with the new one.

During a Vogue conversation with longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams, Pusha described Let God Sort Em Out as “a tutorial on the maturation of a Rap group.” His reasoning had less to do with beats or bars than with how much he and his brother Malice have changed since the Hell Hath No Fury days.

“I can never make Hell Hath No Fury again,” Pusha admitted. That album, he explained, came from bitterness and an intense desire to prove himself. The hunger made it a classic — but it is a headspace he hopes he never has to return to.

Released in July 2025, Let God Sort Em Out reunited the Thornton brothers for their first Clipse album in nearly 16 years. Pharrell produced the whole project, which kept the duo’s signature street narratives while opening up room for more personal reflections on faith, family and loss. Songs like “The Birds Don’t Sing,” which addresses the deaths of their parents, show just how different this chapter is.

That does not mean Clipse went soft, though. Pusha and Pharrell were clear in the conversation that the group still makes what they call “fight or flight music” — urgency is still the engine. The difference is that the intensity now comes from two men whose lives look nothing like they did in 2006.

It is a rare thing in hip-hop: a legendary group coming back not to chase their old sound, but to show how far they have grown. Experience the most emotional moment on the new album here: Clipse feat. John Legend – “The Birds Don’t Sing” (Official Music Video).

So, Kiss family, we have to ask — is Let God Sort Em Out really better than Hell Hath No Fury, or is the classic untouchable? Sound off in the comments, and send your requests to the request line at +1 302-357-9831!
