Travis Scott just took retail therapy to a whole new level. The Houston superstar hopped on his private jet Tuesday and flew straight to the Volo Museum in Volo, Illinois — and walked out with not one, not two, but FOUR brand-new vintage collector cars.
The museum broke the news itself, sharing a photo of La Flame posing at the showroom. “He flew out on his private jet to visit Volo Museum and purchased FOUR collector cars from our showrooms,” the post read, praising Travis for being “very humble and kind” to every employee and noting that he wants to bring his family back for another visit. The post has since been deleted — but the internet never forgets.
So what did he pick up? According to local reports, the haul includes a rare 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, a 1955 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery, a 1957 Ford Fairlane, and a 1954 Chevrolet 3100. The museum didn’t disclose the price tag, but four collector-grade machines like these? Yeah — you can imagine what that receipt looks like.
Volo isn’t your average dealership. The family-owned museum — run by the Grams family since 1960 — houses hundreds of classic, antique, and collector cars, plus Hollywood movie vehicles, vintage trains, military exhibits, and even a Titanic exhibit. Many of the rides are for sale, which makes it the perfect playground for a serious collector like Travis.
And make no mistake, La Flame is a serious collector. His garage has already held heavyweights like a Bugatti Chiron, a Ferrari LaFerrari, and multiple Lamborghinis. But this latest run feels like a shift — instead of modern hypercars, he’s buying pieces of American automotive history. Three of the four are straight out of the 1950s, a totally different vibe from the futuristic fleet he’s known for.
