Thanksgiving weekend in Wilmington is closing out with a night built for the grown folks. Thank R&B Night takes over Apexx Lounge on Saturday, November 28, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM, bringing a live R&B lineup to 913 Orange Street in Wilmington, Delaware. The night is 21 and up.
Headlining the evening are Young Steff, Ryan Melody, and Pen Franklin, with a special invited performance from JS Vocals. Music for the night comes from DJ T Nasty. Trust Your Hustle and Boss Desk, the organizers behind the night, are billing it as a celebration of love, real music, and the culture that raised us — timeless R&B favorites, slow jams, and fresh contemporary sounds, all performed live.
The same day at Apexx Lounge also features Mimosas with Mona, hosted by Mona Love — known for The Don’t Call Me White Girl Show — alongside Pen Franklin. A $100 Mimosas with Mona VIP experience includes a meet-and-greet with Don’t Call Me White Girl, priority entry, one glass of mimosa, hors d’oeuvres, premium seating, and an exclusive discount on a future Trust Your Hustle event through email registration.
Tickets for Thank R&B Night are available now through TicketSource.
HISTORY: Young Steff and the Sound of 2000s R&B
Young Steff made his name in the 2000s as an R&B singer out of New Jersey. His breakout moment came with “Can I Holla,” his collaboration with Lil’ Bow Wow featured on the soundtrack to the 2002 film Like Mike. He followed it with “Professional,” featuring Maino, which reached No. 113 on the U.S. R&B chart in 2008.
Pen Franklin is a driving force behind Trust Your Hustle (TYH), the Delaware Valley collective presenting the night with Boss Desk. Mona Love hosts The Don’t Call Me White Girl Show, and JS Vocals is the R&B voice behind the tribute video “I Can’t Breathe.” Together, the lineup mixes a familiar 2000s R&B name with the DMV and Delaware Valley voices carrying the sound forward today.
