New Year’s Eve Jingle Ball Countdown Brings The Girls Room and DJ Sheek to Rehoboth Beach

Ring in 2027 at an epic New Year’s Eve dance in Rehoboth Beach. The New Year’s Eve Jingle Ball Countdown takes over the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center on Thursday, December 31, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 12:15 AM, with a live band and DJ spinning hits all night.
The night opens with a performance and dancing with The Girls Room from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a night of dancing with DJ Sheek, Sheena and Kelly, from 9:00 PM until the New Year is rung in. Watch the ball drop on screen in New York City as the countdown hits midnight, with a free champagne toast to celebrate.
The evening also includes a light buffet starting at 7:30 PM until it sells out, a cash bar, a raffle, New Year’s party favors and free parking. Guests are welcome to bring food from other venues into the Convention Center. Please note the Convention Center has a no-glitter policy.

Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door (Eventbrite from $44.52); a private table for 10 is available at $500 before the event. Online ticket sales end at 8:00 AM on December 31, and tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are also available by Venmo at @gaywomenofrehoboth. This event is for individuals 18 and older. All ticket sales are final. The event is presented by Gay Women of Rehoboth.
History: New Year’s Eve in Rehoboth Beach
Rehoboth Beach has long been one of the East Coast’s most welcoming beach towns, a place where the LGBTQ+ community has gathered for generations — from summer weekends on the boardwalk to winter celebrations downtown. Its New Year’s Eve traditions are part of that story: neighbours and visitors packing the Convention Center to dance the old year out together.
The countdown itself is a ritual more than a century old. The first ball drop in New York City’s Times Square took place in 1907, and watching it fall has become the shared moment that closes the year across the country. At the Jingle Ball, that moment arrives with a live band, a DJ, a room full of friends and a champagne toast at midnight — a Delaware send-off to 2026 and a welcome to 2027.
