Boo & Bougie Day Party Brings Halloween Brunch to NoMa Oct 31
Written by Kiss Media on 16 October 2026
Halloween gets bougie at the library. The Boo & Bougie Day Party lands at the Wilmington Library’s NoMa Branch on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM — a Halloween-inspired brunch and day party fundraiser.
Each ticket covers brunch catered by The Batson Experience, two complimentary drinks, and entry into raffles — with DJ Mac Wondo setting the soundtrack. Every dollar raised supports programs, services and community experiences at the NoMa branch. Costumes are encouraged, good vibes are required, and the crowd is 21 and up.
HISTORY: DJ Mac Wondo is a Wilmington-based DJ known for genre-blending sets rooted in R&B, soulful house, jazz and deep grooves. As the curator behind “The Listening Room,” he has built a reputation for intentional, mood-driven sets across the city’s cultural spaces — from the Delaware Art Museum’s Sculpture Garden happy hours to dance parties at Chancery Market. The NoMa Branch at 3905 N. Market Street is Wilmington’s library home for teens and adults, and this fundraiser keeps its programming funded.
