Written by Kiss Media on 16 October 2026
Start Halloween Saturday with healing. The Black Healing Space comes to The Chancery Market on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10 AM to 12:30 PM (doors at 9:45 AM) — an in-person wellness session creating a safe, nurturing space for the Black community to heal together.
The session centers on self-love through breathwork and sound healing, with guided reflection, journaling and group sharing — designed to release anxiety, stress and trauma while cultivating gratitude, peace and love. Facilitators are trained in spiritual care and well-being. Ages 18 and up.
HISTORY: HealYourLovePeriod is the wellness collective behind the gathering — 544 events hosted over three years, part of the “Philadelphia & Wilmington, DE Wellness Circles” collection. The Chancery Market at 1313 North Market Street is Wilmington’s food-hall and community gathering space, and this morning session opens its doors to healing before the day’s Halloween festivities.
