HISTORY: K&R International Restaurant & Bar on North Dupont Street has become a hub for Wilmington’s international community nights — the kind of room where the diaspora gathers and every flag in the place tells a story. Flag-themed parties are a staple of African nightlife culture in the U.S.: part celebration, part homecoming, part friendly rivalry over whose country’s anthem gets the loudest reaction. With DJ Shinski holding down the decks and Milani Events behind the night, Rep Your Flag promises the full experience — from Afrobeats to amapiano to the classics every flag in the room knows by heart.
