HISTORY
The tribute at the heart of this night honors one of the towering figures in R&B history. Marvin Gaye, the Prince of Motown and Prince of Soul, helped shape the sound of Motown in the 1960s before breaking away to make the landmark concept albums What’s Going On and Let’s Get It On, and later the Grammy-winning hit “Sexual Healing.” His voice and songwriting helped define what soul music could say — and a tribute night is how that legacy keeps filling rooms decades later.
For listeners who love classic soul and R&B, this is a night to feel the rhythm: a live tribute, a beach-town room, and six hours of the music that made Marvin Gaye royalty.
