Kola Kol has been working in radio broadcasting since 2009, when she began working as an on-air personality at Hawk Radio, a student run radio station at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES ). She graduated from UMES in May of 2013. While in college , Kola was a co-host for "Hardwire", a radio show that gave emerging music artists a platform to introduce themselves to the public and share their music. She also worked closely with Discover UMES in the spring of 2013. Discover UMES is an official YouTube channel for UMES. After college Kola worked as a Radio Talk Show Producer and a Production Assistant at WCEM in Cambridge, Maryland. In April of 2014 Kola began working as a production assistant for WZEB-FM and an on-air personality for WOCQ-FM in Georgetown, Delaware. Kola helped The Voice Radio Network build their social media platforms and launch their websites as a Social Media/ Website administrator. While at The Voice Radio Network Kola earned her own On-Air shift Midday's weekday 10a-3pm. After ranking high in ratings Kola was promoted to Afternoon drive radio show host until May 2019. Kola had the number 1 Afternoon radio show for young adults at the time of her last broadcast on WZEB-FM. Kola Kol worked as a television personality for QB Entertainment Television, a 30 minute show that airs on WRDE-TV Delmarva's NBC every Sunday mornings at 11am, she delivers the top 5 music video countdown and entertainment news stories. Currently Kola is The Night Show host for Kiss1017, you can listen weekdays 9P-12A.
